Good morning MHP!

The late bus is running today. The bus departs campus at 4:30pm. Students needing to ride the late bus should sign up in the front office by lunch time.

Football players are selling restaurant discount cards for $20 to raise funds to support the MHP Football Program. Find your favorite football player and purchase a card today!

JV and Varsity volleyball players are selling cookie dough for $16 a tub. See your favorite MHP volleyball player to purchase a tub.

Attention seniors: Josten’s will be on campus today at lunch for you to place your orders. Don’t forget to have your order forms and payment ready.

Spirit week begins today. You can earn points today by wearing your grade level color. Freshmen-white, Sophomores-gray, Juniors-Blue, Seniors-Black. Remember to check in at the student council table at lunch. Spirit week continues, September 25th through Friday, September 29th. The homecoming dance will be held Saturday, September 30th. Ticket prices are $10 for single ticket, $15 for a couples ticket. You can purchase your homecoming tickets at lunch time or see Mrs. Harris in F5 before or after school. Spirit days for next week are:

Attention Sports Fans! As part of our Homecoming games, this Friday, Booster will be adding Indian Fry Bread to our menu! This will be offered at the Concession Stand after varsity Volleyball, and during Football. Come on out with a big appetite for sports and great food!

PEP Band will have rehearsal today after school from 2:30-3:30 for tonight’s football game.

Are you interested in magic? MHP will be introducing a new club on campus, Magic: The Gathering Club. The club will promote strategic decisions, problem solving, and critical thinking. Magic is a game filled with math, planning, and probability. The magic club will be on Friday’s from 3:30-4:30pm in F8 with Mr. Belli.

The cafeteria staff is trying new menu items in the commons. This month be prepared for "try it Tuesdays" and vegetarian options each week. Try it Tuesday will start Sept 12 with an Asian themed salad bar. Sept 19 Fiesta salad bar and Sept 26 Italian stuffed salad bar.

We look forward to seeing all of you tonight as we take on Ajo High School in our homecoming football game. The team will take on Ajo High School at 7:00pm.

Congrats to the he Heat Soccer team in their 2-0 win over Tri-City Christian.

The Lady Heat JV Volleyball team has a home game at 4:00pm on Friday, September 22nd against Ajo High School.

Varsity Volleyball has a home game Friday, September 22nd at 5:00pm against Ajo High School. Good luck Lady Heat Volleyball.

Important Cafeteria News: Previous school year meal benefits are about to expire! Don’t let that happen! You can pick up a meal application at the front office or fill one out online. This Friday MHP football will host its homecoming football game. The team will take on Ajo High School at 7:00pm.

The Heat Soccer team will compete against Tri-City Christian tonight at 7:00pm on our home field . Good luck Heat Soccer!
