February 22nd, 2022

Dear Madison Highland Prep Families,

We hope you had a restful holiday and were able to spend some quality time with your loved ones. We have enjoyed seeing our students back in our classrooms after a well-deserved winter break. Although we have had a great start to the new year, our highest priority continues to be the health and safety of our students and staff.

I hope that this letter finds you and your family well. I wish to extend my sincerest appreciation for all of your support, and adherence to our school’s COVID-19 Mitigation Plan. Our learning community’s cohesion and cooperation has resulted in the best possible approximation of a quality learning environment, complimented by a full campus experience, benefitting our students. It is with relief that the Covid-19 surge appears to have largely subsided and I am happy to share that our school presently has no active cases. Therefore, effective Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022 MHP will return to a mask optional policy. To review MHP’s updated mitigation plan visit: https://madisonhighlandprep.com/covid-19/

MHP does still recommend masks at this time, and masks will continue to be required on the school bus, school vehicles, and in the cafeteria. We will continue to keep a close eye on school community spread and are prepared to make decisions that will keep our school community safe should cases start to rise again.

I hope you and your family enjoy this long weekend, and I look forward to seeing our students back on Tuesday.

Sincerely,

Rosana Rodriguez
Principal
